His remarkable achievements in the IT hardware sales market led him to the position of North European Sales Director. Neil assisted numerous global brands in maximising their sales potential across Northern Europe.

With a shift towards the property industry, Neil is now dedicated to refining Burnett & Lee's pillars of Property Consultancy, encompassing sales, lettings, maintenance, development, finance and legal services just to name a few. Neil aims to establish Burnett & Lee as the industry's new gold standard by introducing new and innovative ideas that focus on a client-centric approach that ensures the right support throughout the entire buying and selling process.

After a distinguished career in private security, I decided to retrain in an electrical & mechanical engineering role. This led to a career in construction, where I worked as a multidisciplinary tradesman & builder for many years — before having to look for a new career path following a repetitive strain injury. Property was a natural choice given my experience & skill set. Many years later, I am now have a track record of providing my clients excellent advice in assistance with managing their property decisions. I provide my clients with a comprehensive service -- negotiating, managing contractors, ensuring compliance, record keeping, & keeping all parties appraised. I can assist with marketing properties including property staging & photography as well as hosting viewings. With over 12 years of experience in property development, I have developed a love for property management. I have a keen eye for detail and have a commitment to making your transitional journey, an easy and stress free one. I find myself in a position in which I can share my knowledge and expertise from a different perspective to give guidance and advise in ways to develop a home that a client wishes to achieve. I aim to guide our clients through buying, selling, or renting a house and making it into their home. Prior to this, I was unable to feel completely satisfied in my job as I was not able to experience some of projects from start to finish and see the results of my work and the positive impact it had however I now have the incredible opportunity to build relationships with clients from the start to the end of their property journey and beyond which is something I’ve always been driven to have.

Claire Barber, originally from South Wales, recently relocated to North Yorkshire where she is heading up our Human Resources and Recruitment department. Five years ago Claire moved from Swansea to Staffordshire, where she joined Hill Helicopters, primarily as their customer relationship manager, but additionally supporting recruitment in-house, which was one of Claire’s most rewarding roles there. Securing new team members to grow Hill Helicopters’ phenomenal HX50 prototype has fuelled Claire’s decision to move forward with recruitment. After setting up her own agency Ring Ring Recruitment, with over five years’ experience in the recruitment sector and over 30 years’ experience in sales, marketing and events, it felt like the perfect opportunity to provide a wonderful service to clients across the UK and also help candidates secure great new roles in their chosen fields. Claire has a passion for people, building teams and supporting candidates on their next journey.

Having worked for everyone from sole traders to blue-chip companies, such as BMW and Virgin Trains, for whom she provided events, customer service has always been paramount to Claire. We are delighted that Claire has joined the team here at Burnett & Lee. Exciting times ahead.

With a working background primarily in Engineering and Construction sectors, experience of Administration, Coordination and Project Management and with a genuine passion and interest in property, I bring a range of skills, knowledge and expertise as an Area Property Consultant to Burnett & Lee.

I’ve worked for one of the countries largest Housing Associations within the Retrofit and Energy department, specialising in the Planning and Coordination of upgrading company housing stock, installing energy efficiency measures and liaising with Tenants and Subcontractors along with Assessors and Surveyors regarding EPC’s and Technical Inspections. Prior to this, I worked within insulation and rendering, where I was involved in the compliance process and learnt the basics of residential Construction, home improvement and development. I pride myself on attention to detail, strong customer care and communication and look forward to hearing from you soon.
